Designing XSitePro Templates with Photoshop

I use Photoshop to design XSitePro templates. It’s really easy. I would normally start with a canvas with 700 to 750 pixels in width and 400 pixels in height.

After doing that, I started to design the template the way I want it. But however you design it, you must have the panels in mind. The Header, Left, Right and Footer panels will be the wrapper for the content.

This is an example of one design for XSitePro templates. You can use your own creativity and skills to design your own template. After finish designing it, we’ll be slicing it into images for the panels.

When you are done designing, it’s time to slice it into images for the panels in XSitePro. This is simple to do. All that you have to do is click on the icon at the bottom of the Tools Panel in Photoshop and your artwork will be transferred over to ImageReady.
